TOS/AUP Change: Anyone caught uploading illegal files will be banned & files deleted. Keep in mind all of your information is tracked when you upload, so do not abuse this free service.

New Feature: Tonight we have added a section under certain types of files (mp3, wav, avi, mpg, jpg, gif) that will display 3 random public uploads with a bit of information about that clip. This will allow users to see more of the files uploaded here at MyFreeGig.com.

New Feature: Today a new section was added. This new section is called "My Uploads". This section will display all of your previous uploads private or public with some details about your uploads. This section is based off of your IP address. Soon we will probably add the ability to have user accounts to make it easier to track uploads.

New Feature: Today comments were added to many parts of the site. This allows you to add comments on any file that has been uploaded.

New Feature: Today captions were added to the upload & view sections. This allows you to add a little caption for the image. Maximum allowed is 255 charectors.

Today the upload file size limit has been increased to 300Mb's per file.

Today a new function has been added to the uploader which will greatly decrease the load times of all gallery pages (Top 25, Last 25, Upcoming Galleries, etc). This function basicly creates a small thumbnail of the image after uploading. This allows the small image to be loaded rather then the large full size image to be loaded. This greatly decreases page load times.

I have added a new view image function which allows all image file types to work now, (png and bmp are now accepted). This new functiona also allows animation in the all animated png & gif files.

I have corrected the issue with the site not allowing uploads more than 2Mbytes. You can now upload files in size upto 25Mbytes.
